Trevor has extensive experience in baseball with youth and professional programs. He is the owner of Pastime Athletics, a company dedicated to promoting youth athletics through Park Districts and other community programs. He is also the owner/partner of John Mallee's Major League Batting. Together with John Mallee, current Major League Hitting Coach the Varsity Assistant they have built a national program teaching the absolutes of hitting. Through this, Trevor has traveled throughout the country as a clinician teaching the game of baseball.
Trevor coaches high school baseball at Notre Dame College Prep as the Varsity Assistant Head coach. Previously, as well as being an Associate Midwest scout for the Miami Marlins, he was the Varsity Assistant Head Coach at Prospect High School. The 2011 Knights finished 3rd Place in State and were awarded the 2011 IHSA Coach of the Year Award.
Trevor grew up in the Chicago area. He went to John Hersey High School where he was a 3 sport athlete and a four year varsity baseball player. He holds school records for Career Batting Average. On Base Percentage and was the team MVP two years in a row. Trevor also helped Arlington Hts. Leagion Post 208 to three consecutive state finals appearances finishing 4th, 3rd and 2nd.
Trevor went on to earn baseball scholarships to both Northern Illinois University and the University of Evansville. He was named a 2001 Louisville Slugger Freshman All American.
After college, he went on the manage multiple sports complexes and developed relationships with many local community programs. In 2008, he created Pastime Athletics. In the six years since its inception, Pastime Athletics has had over 6000 participants. Of those, over 60 have received college scholarships and have played at the highest levels of competition. Trevor currently resides in the Chicagoland area with his wife, their two year old daughter and newborn son.
